At the type locality, the Dara-i-Pioz Massif, Districts of Republican Subordination, Tajikistan, tadzhikite
occurs in the replacement units of zoned pegmatite dikes,
associated with quartz, microcline,
aegirine, ekanite,
titanite, eudialyte,
polylithionite,
arfvedsonite-riebeckite,
pyrochlore, tienshanite and
stillwellite-(Ce)
(HOM).
