Localities

There are two co-type localities, Eagle Claims U-Cu-Se occurrence, and Ato Bay, Beaverlodge Lake, Goldfields District, both at Beaverlodge Lake area, Saskatchewan, Canada.

At the Eagle Claims U-Cu-Se occurrence, Beaverlodge Lake area, Saskatchewan, Canada, tyrellite occurs with other selenides, as one of the the youngest hydrothermal replacements and open space fillings in sheared Precambrian rocks, which also contain uraninite deposits (HOM).

At Ato Bay, Beaverlodge Lake, Goldfields District, Beaverlodge Lake area, Saskatchewan, Canada, tyrellite occurs with other selenides, as one of the youngest hydrothermal replacements and open space fillings in sheared Precambrian rocks, which also contain uraninite deposits. Associated minerals include umangite, klockmannite, clausthalite, pyrite, hematite, chalcopyrite and chalcomenite (HOM).

At Petrovice, Nové Město na Moravě, Žďár nad Sázavou District, Vysočina Region, Czech Republic, tyrellite occurs with berzelianite, eucairite, crookesite, ferroselite, bukovite, krut'aite, athabascaite, calcite and dolomite (HOM).
