Vaesite occurs associated with arsenic-deficient nickelskutterudite, pyrite, polydymite and uraninite (HOM).

Localities

At Schneeberg, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany, vaesite occurs as a secondary alteration product of arsenic-deficient nickelskutterudite (Webmin, HOM).

At the type locality, the Kasompi Mine, Kolwezi mining district, Lualaba, DR Congo, vaesite occurs disseminated through dolostone (HOM).
