Localities
At the Aravaite type locality, Hatrurim Basin, Tamar Regional Council, Southern District, Israel,
ariegilatite occurs in an altered spurrite
marble as flat disc-shaped crystals up to 0.5 mm in size. Associated
minerals include spurrite,
shulamitite,
fluormayenite,
fluorkyuygenite,
fluorapatite, calcite and
brownmillerite
(Mindat).
