Arzakite has not yet been approved by the IMA, but it is probably valid.

Localities

Arzakite was originally reported from the Arzak Hg occurrence, Uyuk Range, Pii-Khem District, Tuva Republic, Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia, from the oxidised zone of the hydrothermal deposit, where it occurs in asssociation with lavrentievite, cinnabar, corderoite, quartz and kaolinite (HOM).
