Pegmatites

Calciocatapleiite occurs in cavities between crystals of microcline, in syenite pegmatites of a differentiated alkalic massif. Associated minerals include pyrophanite, pyrochlore, titanium-bearing låvenite, loparite-(Ce), kupletskite, rare-earth apatite, hiortdahlite, calcium-bearing seidozerite, leucophanite and microcline (HOM).

Localities

The type locality is the Burpala alkaline massif, Maigunda River, Mama River Basin, Buryatia, Russia.
