Evdokimovite is a relatively new mineral, approved in 2013 and to date (July 2024) reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the First scoria cone, Northern Breakthrough, Great Fissure eruption, Tolbachik Volcanic Field, Milkovsky District, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, evdokimovite was found in a sample together with markhininite and karpovite. Other associated minerals are pauflerite, bobjonesite and shcherbinaite. The evdokimovite occurs as thin, colourless needles up to 0.09 mm long (MM 78.1711-1724).
