Fumeroles

To date (June 2021) georgbokiite has been found only at the type locality, as a product of fumarolic activity at a temperature of 200oC (Webmin).

Localities

At the type locality, the Great Fissure eruption, Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, georgbokiite is a rare fumarolic sublimate. Associated minerals include burnsite, chloromenite, sofiite, ilinskite, cotunnite, halite, and moissanite (HOM).
