Localities

At the type locality, Mbolwe Hill, Mkushi River area, Mkushi, Mkushi District, Central Province, Zambia, hejtmanite occurs in arfvedsonite veins in pegmatite cutting alkalic granite and syenite. Associated minerals include manganoan arfvedsonite, albite, bastnäsite, chevkinite, manganoan ilmenite, apatite and aegirine (HOM, AM 77.1306).
