Environments
Hrabákite is a new mineral, approved in 2020 and to date (May 2023) reported only from the type locality.
Localities
At the type locality, Uranium Mine No. 9, Háje, Příbram District, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic, hrabákite was found in
siderite–sphalerite
gangue with minor
dolomite–ankerite at the dump. Hrabákite is
associated with lead-rich tučekite,
magnesium-rich silver,
stephanite, nickeline,
millerite, gersdorffite,
sphalerite and galena. The hrabákite occurs
as rare prismatic crystals up to 120 μm in size and as grains
(MM 85.2.189-196).
