  At the type locality, the Tsumeb mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia, koritnigite occurs as a 
  secondary mineral of the lower oxidation zone in a 
  dolostone-hosted polymetallic hydrothermal ore deposit. Associated minerals include 
  tennantite, copper-bearing 
  adamite, stranskiite, 
  lavendulan, köttigite, 
  tsumcorite, prosperite and 
  o’danielite 
  (AM 65.206, Dana, HOM).
