Localities
At the type locality, the Dara-i-Pioz Massif, Districts of Republican Subordination, Tajikistan,
kupletskite-(Cs) occurs in rosette-like intergrowths of curved platy crystals at the border of
aegirine - microcline -
quartz pegmatites and
in polylithionite-quartz
replacement complexes in the pegmatites. Associated minerals
include pyrochlore,
stillwellite-(Ce),
tienshanite, sogdianite and
thorite
(AM 57.328).
