Kutinaite is a rare arsenide.

At the type locality, Černý Důl, Krkonoše Mountain, Czech Republic, kutinaite occurs in carbonate-rich hydrothermal veins associated with novákite, with which it is intergrown, koutekite, paxite, arsenolamprite and löllingite (HOM, AM55.1083).

At Wasserfall, France, kutinaite is associated with allargentum, koutekite and domeykite (HOM).

At Meskani, Iran, kutinaite is associated with koutekite and domeykite (HOM).

At Niederbeerbach, Germany, kutinaite is associated with paxite, lautite, arsenic, silver, löllingite and proustite (HOM).
