arsenic

Environments:
Arsenolamprite occurs in carbonate rocks and calcite veins,
associated with arsenic,
bismuth, silver,
sternbergite,
emplectite, safflorite,
löllingite, pyrite,
galena, orpiment,
realgar and calcite
(HOM). Arsenolamprite oxidises slowly in air and is then covered with a thin crust of tiny
arsenolite crystals
(Mindat).
Localities
At Černý Důl, Trutnov District, Hradec Králové Region, Czech Republic, arsenolamprite occurs as plates and
veinlets in carbonate rocks
(HOM).
At the amphibolite quarry, Mackenheim, Abtsteinach, Bergstraße, Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany, arsenolamprite occurs
in calcite veins
(HOM).
At the type locality, the Palmbaum Mine, Gehringswalde, Wolkenstein, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany,
arsenolamprite is associated with native silver and an aggregate of
sternbergite with some
safflorite and traces of
secondary pyrite
(Ramdohr p370).
