Localities

At the type locality, the Dashkesan Co-Fe deposit, Dashkesan, Dashkasan District, Azerbaijan, potassic-chloro-hastingsite comes from amphibole skarns in the northeast part of the deposit, where it can make up in excess of 95% of the skarn, the remainder consisting of quartz, chlorite, actinolite, apatite, epidote, magnetite, hematite, chalcopyrite, bornite and cobaltite (AM 94.399).
