Localities

At the type locality, the Roua Mines, Daluis, Nice Arrondissement, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, theoparacelsite occurs, within 1 mm geodes of cuprite, as anhedral grains 0.2 × 0.1 × 0.05 mm3, as smaller equidimension crystals, and as rectangular crystals; also pulverulent, and as pseudomorphs after olivenite. Theoparacelsite associates include olivenite, cornubite, connellite, tangdanite, cuprite, native copper, algodonite and domeykite (AM 87.356-357).
