Localities

At the type locality, Cap Garonne Mine, Le Pradet, Toulon, Var, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, thérèsemagnanite occurs as pink to light pink, thin platy crystals, making up radiating spherules to 0.2 mm across. Crystals are transparent, with a pearly lustre, light pink streak and one perfect cleavage. It is a secondary alteration mineral associated with quartz gangue and anglesite, antlerite, ktenasite, cerussite, brochantite, covellite, tennantite and gersdorffite (AM 78.1315).
