Sedimentary environments

At the type locality, Big Fish River, Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada, Wicksite occurs in nodules in shale beds in an iron formation. Associated minerals include wolfeite, satterlyite, marićite, ludlamite, vivianite, pyrite and quartz (AM 67.1077, Dana, HOM).
