At the type locality, the Clara Mine, Oberwolfach, Ortenaukreis, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany,
arsenogoyazite is found in oxidised veins in the hydrothermal polymetallic deposit on
quartz and baryte. Other
associated minerals include
with malachite, brochantite,
olivenite, cualstibite,
cornwallite,
arsenogorceixite,
bariopharmacosiderite and SO4-free
weilerite
(Dana, Mindat).
At the Centennial Eureka Mine, Eureka, Tintic Mining District, Juab County, Utah, USA, arsenogoyazite is
associated with arsenocrandallite,
beudantite and olivenite
(HOM).
