Environments

Hydrothermal environments

Bobmeyerite was approved in 2012, but to date (June 2025) it has been reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, St. Anthony deposit, Tiger, Mammoth Mining District, Pinal County, Arizona, USA, bobmeyerite occurs in an oxidation zone assemblage that includes atacamite, caledonite, cerussite, connellite, diaboleite, fluorite, georgerobinsonite, hematite, leadhillite, matlockite, murdochite, phosgenite, pinalite, quartz, wulfenite and yedlinite. The mode of occurrence is attributed to progressive alteration and crystallisation in a closed system (MM 77.1.81-91).
