Pharmacolite and picropharmacolite are common associates of fluckite (Mindat).

Localities

The type locality is the Gabe Gottes mine, Sankt Jakob vein, Neuenberg, Ste Marie-aux-Mines, Colmar-Ribeauvillé, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est, France. Fluckite was found here as a post-mine low-temperature reaction product of carbonate gangue with arsenical solutions derived from arsenic (AM 65.1066, HOM). Associated minerals include arsenic, tennantite, skutterudite, sainfeldite, pharmacolite, villyaellenite, picropharmacolite, calcite, dolomite, ankerite and quartz (HOM).
