At the type locality, the Koashva Open Pit, Koashva Mountain, Khibiny Massif, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, fluorcaphite
occurs in miarolitic cavities in a hyperagpaitic pegmatite in
a differentiated alkalic massif. Associated minerals include
deloneite, belovite-(Ce),
alkalic amphibole,
lamprophyllite, labuntsovite,
wadeite, sazykinaite-(Y),
rémondite-(La), sphalerite,
galena, fluorite and
graphite
(HOM).
