At Adervielle, France, friedelite is associated with rhodochrosite and alabandite (HOM).

At franklin, New Jersey, USA, freidelite is associated with franklinite, willemite, calcite, rhodochrosite, baryte, chlorite and sphalerite (HOM).

At Kuruman, South Africa, freidelite is associated with calcite, kutnohorite, andradite and hausmannite (HOM).
