At Franklin, New Jersey, USA, freidelite is associated with franklinite, willemite, calcite, rhodochrosite, baryte, chlorite and sphalerite (HOM).

At Kuruman, South Africa, freidelite is associated with calcite, kutnohorite, andradite and hausmannite (HOM).
