Localities

At the type locality, the Kairagach Au deposit, Okhangaron District, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, nekrasovite occurs in ore aggregates within altered andesite and dacite. Associated minerals include tetrahedritetennantite, luzonitefamatinite, pyrite, mawsonite, chalcopyrite, emplectite, laitakarite, bismuth, calcite, quartz and baryte. The nekrasovite forms microscopic grains situated among emplectite, chalcopyrite, laitakarite and native bismuth; it can form intergrowths with chalcopyrite and mawsonite (AM 70.436-441, HOM).
