Localities

At the Monte Arsiccio Mine, Sant'Anna di Stazzema, Stazzema, Lucca Province, Tuscany, Italy, parapierrotite was identified in two different samples, as striated prismatic crystals, black in colour, ranging from 0.05 to 0.5 mm in length. In the studied specimens, parapierrotite is associated with sphalerite, zinkenite, tetrahedrite and routhierite, or with stibnite, protochabournéite and routhierite (EJM 31.5-6).1055–1065).

At the type locality, Allchar, Rožden, Kavadarci Municipality, North Macedonia, parapierrotite is of hydrothermal origin, in cavities in realgar (AM 61.504, Webmin, HOM).

At the Lookout Pass Thallium prospect, Little Valley, Sheeprock Mountains, Tooele county, Utah, USA, parapierrotite is associated with avicennite (HOM).
