At the Valgraveglia Mine, Reppia, Ne, Genoa, Liguria, Italy, parsettensite is associated with quartz, caryopilite and ganophyllite HOM).

At the type locality, Parsettens Alp, Tinizong, Surses, Albula Region, Grisons, Switzerland, parsettensite occurs in and peripheral to a metamorphosed manganese deposit. Associated minerals include tinzenite, sursassite, piemontite, rhodonite, manganese-bearing calcite, rhodochrosite, quartz, albite and baryte (HOM).
