Localities

At the type locality, the Mattagami Lake mine, Matagami, Nord-du-Québec, Quebec, Canada, tellurantimony has been found in a zinc-rich stratiform massive sulphide deposit of volcanogenic origin in Archean volcanics, associated with altaite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite (HOM).

At the Kobetsuzawa mine, Japan, tellurantimony has been found associated with altaite and tellurium (HOM).

At the Golden Mile, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia, tellurantimony is extremely rare, but a sample has been found associated with coloradoite, calaverite, petzite, altaite, tellurium and gold. Another sample was found associated with tellurium and coloradoite (AJM.18.1.14-15).
