Tritomite-(Ce) is a rare mineral occurring in nepheline syenite pegmatites (Webmin)

Localities

At the Cardiff property, Cardiff Township, Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada, tritomite-(Ce) is associated with augite, plagioclase, microcline, allanite, calcite, fluorite and quartz (HOM).

At the type locality, Låven, Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway, tritomite-(Ce) occurs in nepheline syenite pegmatites (HOM, Dana) associated with aegirine, leucophanite, analcime, mosandrite-(Ce) and catapleiite (HOM Mindat).
