Localities

At the type locality, Fonte del Prete, San Piero in Campo, Campo nell'Elba, Livorno Province, Tuscany, Italy, uranopolycrase occurs in a zoned pegmatite vein with abundant Nb,Ta minerals and zeolites, near the contact with granodiorite. The uranopolycrase is almost totally metamict. Associated minerals include uranoan polycrase-(Y), euxenite-(Y), columbite-(Mn), titanowodginite, beryl, stilbite, quartz, orthoclase, albite, lepidolite and elbaite (HOM, Mindat).
