Environments
Vladkrivovichevite is a relatively new mineral, approved in 2011 and to date (June 2024) reported only from the type
locality.
Localities
At the type locality, the Kombat Mine, Kombat, Otavi Constituency, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia, two new (in 2011) lead oxychloride
minerals, hereroite and vladkrivovichevite, occur in association with
asisite, damaraite,
kombatite, sahlinite,
copper, quartz,
barysilite, manganese silicates and a number
of manganese oxyhydroxide minerals on a specimen from the mine. The minerals formed as
late-stage products of hydrothermal reworking of primary sulphide minerals.
Vladkrivovichevite is pale greenish yellow, with a white streak and adamantine lustre
(MM 76.4.883–890).
