Pegmatites

Localities

At the type locality, the Dara-i-Pioz Massif, Districts of Republican Subordination, Tajikistan, berezanskite occurs in a fragment of alkali pegmatite in moraine at the Dara-i-Pioz glacier as aggregates, up to 2 x 3 mm, and as vein-like aggregates to 3 x 20 mm, consisting of white platy grains up to 0.6 mm across (AM 83.907). Associated minerals include quartz, aegirine, microcline, kupletskite-(Cs), hyalotekite, polylithionite, tadzhikite-(Ce), dusmatovite, zektzerite and stillwellite-(Ce) (HOM).
