Localities

At the type locality, the Pucher Shaft, Wolfgangmaßen mines, Wolfgangmaßen, Neustädtel, Schneeberg, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany, nickellotharmeyerite occurs as minute tabular crystals to 0.1 mm in quartz casts of decomposed nickel and cobalt arsenides, in the oxidation zone of the deposit. Associated minerals include arseniosiderite, bariopharmacosiderite, ferrilotharmeyerite, mawbyite, quartz and zeunerite (Mindat).
Also cobaltlotharmeyerite, galena and plumbogummite (HOM).

At the Km 3 open pit, Km 3 mines, Km 3, Lavrion Mining District, Lavreotiki, East Attica, Attica, Greece, nickellotharmeyerite occurs in the oxidation zone of the polymetallic ore deposit. Associated minerals include nickeltsumcorite, annabergite, nickelaustinite, gaspéite, calcite, dolomite, aragonite, quartz, goethite, cerussite, arseniosiderite, mimetite, oxyplumboroméite, and manganese oxides/hydroxides (HOM).
