Localities

At the type locality, the Lengenbach Quarry, Fäld, Binn, Goms, Valais, Switzerland, trechmannite has been found as minute red crystals resting on a crystal of baumhauerite in a cavity in white dolomite (MM 14.72-82).
Raberite also occurs here very rarely as euhedral crystals up to 150 μm across associated with yellow needle-like smithite, realgar, hatchite and probable trechmannite, edenharterite and jentschite (MM 76.5.1153–1163).
