At Jas Roux, La Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar, Hautes-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, twinnite is associated with chabourneite, pierrotite, parapierrotite, stibnite, pyrite, sphalerite, zinkenite, madocite, andorite, smithite, laffittite, routhierite, aktashite, wakabayashilite, realgar and orpiment (HOM).

At Novoye, Khaidarkan Sb-Hg deposit, Fergana Valley, Alai Range, Osh Oblast, Kyrgyzstan, twinnite is associated with sphalerite, pyrite, galena, playfairite, sorbyite, guettardite, baumhauerite, realgar, orpiment, cinnabar, fluorite and quartz (HOM).
